All You Have To Do Is Wait Until Everyone Else Is Dead And You're Good To Go

Speaking of delayed/denied, this guy admitted this week to choking a young mother to death with a wire coat hanger 37 years ago. His sentence: three years prison and probation that he can serve at his family's home in Mississippi. And the three years are being covered by time served and gain time under 1979 rules. Upshot: He won't go to jail for it. The prosecutors say that's the best they could do, because of the age of the case and the death of witnesses. So, in effect, he kinda got away with it.
