A salesperson is suing her former employer, Big 5 Sporting Goods, because she was forced to sell a gun to a person she thought shouldn't have one. On one hand, it's generally not the salesperson's call if the buyer passes all the background checks. On the other hand, would you want to hand a gun over to someone who you observed acting erratically, who made threats and got angry when told to follow the rules for filling out forms? Or was she overreacting? (Los Angeles Times)
