They forecast a lot of snow for Thursday in Philadelphia. Depending on where you were in the region, they were wrong. At the airport, they only got 0.8 inches, not the forecast 8 inches. Out on the Main Line where I used to live, they got about 4 inches. Long Island, on the other hand, got slammed. All of this is to say that weather forecasting is an inexact science, and people get very angry with the meteorologists when they get it wrong. I'm impressed that they can get as close as they do, TBH. (Philadelphia Inquirer)
