Bet It Was A Text For Domino's $5.99 Deal, Which Is, I Suppose, A Major Emergency

We all know not to text and drive, right? This guy was driving on I-64 in Indiana, got a text, looked at it, and rear-ended a semi at high speed. No text is worth that. Also, smartphones have accelerometers, right? They can tell your speed, right? Then why don't they have a feature that when you're going over, say, 5 mph, texts will be held until you stop? I mean, your phone will prevent you from typing in Waze when you're moving, so it can surely block texts when you're moving faster than a jog, too. Why isn't this happening? (Indianapolis Star)
