Have an opinion? Add your comment below. To me it's not a job but a lifestyle. I always try to live as in-sync with the target demographic of the station as possible.

BRIEF CAREER SYNOPSIS:
On-air at KYSR (ALT 98.7)/Los Angeles, WWPW (Power 961), WRDA (ALT 105.7)/Atlanta, KNDD (107.7 The End)/Seattle, and KRBZ (ALT 96.5)/KC. Ten years show prep with Prep+ (ReelWorld/Futuri.) Three years with Beats 1 / Apple Music.
1. So great to see you back on KRBZ! I'm guessing you fell in love with KC. After losing your job in September 2020 due to Audacy's national programming initiative, what led you back to the station in April 2022 to host middays?
A month after moving back to L.A. from KC I got a call from Mike Kaplan and Matt Malone -- how's that for luck?!
2. Your ALT 96.5 bio says: "Hiiiiiiiiiiii again!! I'm back! Missed me? I missed you!! Now we don't have to miss each other anymore cos we get to hang out every weekday in the legendary 10a-2p spot on ALT 96.5. "Time has passed --but I am still the same Jordin. Still rooting for our Chiefs, still want to kiss every cat at Whiskers and KC Pet Project, and still pay for a KC Star Subscription -- so let's put that to use!!" You previous led the morning show. How have you reconnected with KC listeners?
KC is a market that makes you earn your respect. They listen and love radio. I was on the upswing of my "KC Hazing" when I lost my job in 2020 -- so going back I felt their full support. I'm so thankful for that.
3. How does it feel to be back on the station?
Like a great pair of Vans. Ones you've broken in, lost, and then found some place weird.
4. I love your passion. Explain what you meant last time we chatted and said, "I'm exactly like a listener; I just got lucky enough to be on the radio."
To me it's not a job but a lifestyle. I always try to live as in-sync with the target demographic of the station as possible.
5. What do you actually love most about being on-air?
Creating an immersive world for the listener to escape. Providing a place where they can take a break from what inundates them in life.
6. How do you prep for each show?
I spent 10 years working for Prep+ at ReelWorld -- so I have my trusty collection of links. It still takes me almost 2 hours per day to get through all of them, but when I'm done, I'm ready for anything.
7. How are you using social media to augment what you're doing on-air?
Weird flex but I think social media is starting to go out of style. People long for a genuine experience these days and social media has become the opposite of that.
8. Who is your favorite on-air personality and why do you like them?
DJ W No Name from 107.7 The End. He created his own world of silliness and people loved it. He never lived off news or recycled bits. The "W" in his name stood for "Music." HAHA. That makes NO sense! He's a true comic genius.
9. I know you did some podcasting and fill-in work. What was your biggest takeaway from the past 18 months?
That our skillset can be adapted into other areas / jobs like podcasting, content creation, marketing, producing, etc. -- especially with all this remote work.
10. What would surprise people most about you?
My real age. No one ever believes it.
Bonus Questions
What are weekends like for you?
My girlfriend is an artist, so we are usually at an art show or flea market in the L.A. area.
How often do you get back to Old Orchard Beach, Maine and what are your top priorities when you get back home?
Almost never, unfortunately... but when I do, no matter how much I'll deny it on-air, my priorities are spending time with my parents.

Taylor SwiftYou are a huge Taylor Swift fan. Have you met her yet?
How did you know I love Taylor Swift? Ugh, I haven't met her yet. Anyone reading this know her???? Hi! I'm not weird, I just think she's great.
Anything else you would like to add?
Please feel free to reach out if you have any opportunities -- I've still got time in my daily schedule AND gas prices + cost of living in L.A. is INSANE. Plus, I love to work.
