Dirty Heads

“Vacation” is the brand new single from Dirty Heads out now via Five Seven Music. The song heralds the impending release of the gold-certified Orange County group’s anxiously awaited forthcoming album. Produced by frequent collaborator Jonas Jeberg [Demi Lovato, Juicy J, Nicki Minaj], “Vacation” sways from bright sun-soaked piano and booming horns into an unshakable and hashtaggable chant, “Hey, I’m on vacation every single day cuz I love my occupation.” Written and recorded between Los Angeles and their hometown of Orange County with a handful of close collaborators, the new music sees Dirty Heads at their most focused, fiery, and free.
About the song, co-lead vocalist Jared “Dirty J” Watson comments, “I want ‘Vacation’ to speak to people out there who have paid their dues and love their jobs. For those who don’t enjoy what they do every day, it sends a message that, ‘It’s not too late to do something else.’ If you’re not happy, life is way too f**king short to hang around doing something you don’t love. We’re blessed to do something we’re passionate about. We hope you feel the same!”
Dirty Heads is made up members Jared “Dirty J” Watson [vocals], Dustin “Duddy B” Bushnell [vocals & guitar], Jon Olazabal [percussion], Matt Ochoa [drums] and David Foral [bass]. Formed in 2003, the group first made a splash with their full-length 2008 debut “Any Point In A Storm” and #1 Alternative single “Lay Me Down.” Their 2014 album “Sound of Change” featured Top 3 single “My Sweet Summer.” Meanwhile, the band’s 2016 self-titled “Dirty Heads” spawned the Top 15 single “That’s All I Need.”
Dirty Heads is in the midst of a massive co-headline summer tour with SOJA.
