“Going To Mars” is the third single released by the Nashville-based band Judah & The Lion latest album, “Folk Hop N Roll” via Caroline. On January 31st, Judah & The Lion will embark on their “Going To Mars” Tour which will have the band playing all over the U.S.
"This record was made for the live show," Judah & The Lion front-man Judah Akers promises. "Our shows are all about the experience we share with our fans. We know that people work everyday jobs or go to school, and they're dealing with life, and yet they're still choosing to spend the night with us. We don't take that lightly. We give them an experience. We throw an absolute rage. And all the songs were made with that in mind. They're fun, carefree, and youthful, and we live our lives that way, too."
When asked about new music, Judah & The Lion band-member, Nate Zuercher, explained, “When things come to a complete close, we’ll make the new album, which I think will be out in early 2019. Expect it to be different, like all of our albums. We move on and there are new things that have an impact on you that affect recording. In the meantime, we’re enjoying this tour and the success of our album. It was a nice surprise how well it was received by fans. It’s cool being up there onstage watching them singing along to the songs when we play live.”
Judah & The Lion was formed in 2011 and it is made up of Judah Akers (vocals & guitar), Brian Macdonald (mandolin & vocals), and Nate Zuercher (banjo & vocals). They have released two full albums; “Kids These Days” (2014), “Folk Hop n’Roll” (2016) and “Folk Hop 'N Roll Deluxe” (2017) and one EP called “Sweet Tennesse” (2013).
