Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats

“You Worry Me” is the lead single from Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats’ highly anticipated new sophomore album “Tearing At The Seams.” This collection will be out on March 9th via Stax/Concord. Giving fans a glimpse of what’s to come, “You Worry Me” opens with stabbing piano, before delivering an anthemic slice of soulful rock – complete with Rateliff’s husky tones. “I’m gonna leave it all out there to dry up,” he croons over bursts of brass. Hoping to create a more resolved sound, the band took the new material to The Shins and Foxygen producer Richard Swift, following initial writing sessions in New Mexico. According to a press release, the upcoming record is set to be “deeply personal yet accessible”.
“For the first record, I demo’ed everything up and created most of the parts,” Nathaniel Rateliff said of the album. “This time, I felt like we’ve all spent so much time on the road that we should all go off somewhere together. We should all have that experience together.”
Nathaniel David Rateliff is the front-man of Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats. Based in Denver, he formed this band in 2013. Before that, he released two solo albums and one album under the name Nathaniel Rateliff and the Wheel. As part of this band, he has released three collections; “Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats” (2015), “A Little Something More from Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats” (2016) and “Live At Red Rocks” (2017).
For the past two years, the Denver-based band has performed extensively across the globe headlining shows and major festivals. Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats are set to embark on a European tour in March, which includes three nights at London’s Shepherds Bush Empire in April.
