Curtis Harding

The Atlanta-based soul singer and multi-instrumentalist Curtis Harding has shared new single “Need Your Love” from his latest album “Face Your Fear.” This record, out now via Anti Records is Harding's second full-length effort and sees him recruiting the services of Danger Mouse as producer.
When asked about his style of music, Harding explains, “I take the bits and pieces that I have, which in Southern culture they call 'slop' – that's what you give to pigs – and soul is what I grew up on, so that's the foundation."
He continues, "I love soul music. I love all music, but I could always sing. When I was doing rap, I would add elements of what I'm doing now. I'm just going back to my roots, and it's something I can do forever. I can't necessarily be an 80-year-old rapper, but I can definitely sing soul songs and sing music for as long as I'm alive."
Harding has been connected to music his entire life. Raised by a father born in 1930 and a mother that was heavily involved in the church, his musical journey began with gospel. He eventually got into hip-hop, garage rock, and back-up singing for CeeLo Green before finally landing on the soulful sounds he delivers now. He released his debut album, “Soul Power,” in 2014.
The singer will head out on tour in support of “Need Your Love” this March with dates all over the U.S. before heading to Europe for the festival circuit in late June.
