Crystal Fighters have recently signed to Warner Bros. Records and “Boomin’ In Your Jeep” marks the trio’s first release since the signing.
Describing the reaction to the new track, singer Sebatian ‘Bast’ Pringle explains, “We’re psyched just to see how it builds, you know. I think with tunes these days it takes a while for it to build, like maybe a couple of weeks for people to hear it and if people like it, continue to build. We’re really excited about it, we still love the tune, and it’s been cooking for six months or so.”
“To be honest, we’ve written a lot of music for this new album already and we haven’t decided what is going to be exactly on there yet, and some of it will be reactive to how these tunes go down, how they sort of sit with us and with the new stuff that we need to start finishing”, Pringle says.
“It’s all to play for in terms of a new sound, so we’re excited with the new label and they have a different take on what they like about stuff, and so it’s just an interesting process right now.”
Crystal Fighters are an English-Spanish band formed in 2007, in London, England and in Navarre, Spain. Their debut album, “Star Of Love,” was released in 2012 and their second album “Cave Rave” was out in 2013 and their third and most recent collection, “Everything Is My Family” was released in 2016.
The group is now gearing up for a summer of busy festival appearances in Europe.
