Wallows
Jun 21, 2018

“Pictures Of Girls” is the latest single from the band, Wallows. Produced and directed by Shelly, the video for the track serves nostalgic vibes and gets up close and personal with shots of the band members exploring their suburban youth all shot on Super 8 and digital shown in Atwater Village and Downtown LA. “Pictures Of Girls” can be found on their “Spring” EP out now via Atlantic Records.
“We don’t have any particular musical style,” says Warren, OH, native Braeden, who first met fellow Midwesterner Dylan (Evansville, IN) as child actors in Los Angeles, later adding Van Nuys, CA-born and raised Cole. “We incorporate whatever we happen to be listening to and are inspired by. It all depends on what the song requires.”
“We want to continue being unpredictable with our sound, keep our fans guessing,” says Dylan. “We wanted this EP to sound like a progression.”
Forming less than a year ago, Wallows members Braeden Lemasters, Dylan Minnette and Cole Preston have been musically involved playing together for nearly a decade. With their amalgam 90s era alt-rock with a younger modern twist, Wallows have had a series of sold-out shows at LA’s The Roxy and Troubadour, Slim’s in San Francisco, Constellation Room in Santa Ana, Mercury Lounge in New York and more. Wallows began releasing songs independently in April 2017 starting with "Pleaser."
Wallows recently wrapped up their first-ever headlining tour in the U.S. with sold-out dates. Next up will be a set of festivals dates including Lollapalooza in Chicago, Life Is Beautiful in Las Vegas, Austin City Limits Music Festival in Austin and Voodoo Festival in New Orleans.
