Demob Happy

“Less Is More” is the newest single out now via So Recordings/Strange Loop by the English alternative band, Demob Happy. This is their first new material since their acclaimed second album, “Holy Doom.”
Speaking of the new track, front-man Matthew Marcantonio explains, “It looks like less, but it sounds like more. You can dissolve it any way you need to, but for us it wasn’t literal. We threw our all at it, doing things that made us uncomfortable, because you wither and die if you don’t keep moving. There’s so much hidden away on this record you’d think we were joking, but we aren’t. Less is More, more or less…”
Formed in 2008 in Newcastle, Demob Happy is composed of singer-bassist Matthew Marcantonio, drummer Thomas Armstrong and guitarist Adam Godfrey. They have released two full-length albums; “Dream Soda” (2015) and “Holy Doom” (2018) and many EPs throughout the years.
Demob Happy are currently touring the U.S. into May, including a stop at Shaky Knees Festival on Cinco De Mayo.
