Lime Cordiale

“Robbery” is the latest song from Sydney, Australia's Lime Cordiale, consisting of brothers Oliver and Louis Leimbach. It will be on their forthcoming sophomore album, “14 Steps To A Better You,” set for release on July 10th via Chugg Music. Jeff McClusky & Associates is spearheading their radio campaign in the U.S.
To record this collection, Oliver and Louis set up twin studios at a friend’s farm in New South Wales with their long-time band-mates James Jennings (drums), Felix Bornholdt (keyboard) and Nick Polovineo (trombone, guitar). The title of the new album, “14 Steps To A Better You,” is a parody of self-help books with its songs representing “lessons” on how to be your best self, packed with incisive commentary about their mates, lovers and the world at large. It is a representation of just how far they’ve come, both musically and personally.
Speaking of the song, Louis explained “The song all started with that line: ‘hey, there’s been a robbery.’ When you meet someone, even just for a moment, they make an impact and then they’re gone. You’re left feeling robbed. You feel as though you need to find them somehow but it’s no use.”
In 2017, Lime Cordiale released their debut album, “Permanent Vacation.” Their music has currently been streamed over 100 million times.
Lime Cordiale are scheduled to play the rescheduled edition of Splendour In The Grass this October and tour the U.K. and Europe and in November and December.
