New York City singer-songwriter and producer Two Feet jumps back in with his new single "Flatline" from his second full-length album, Max Maco Is Dead Right? via AWAL. Both the single and album were released on April 16th. The song came out of Two Feet's love for flamenco guitar playing. “‘Flatline’ was inspired after listening to some old Eminem and Dr. Dre beats," said Two Feet. "I always loved the plucky guitar in those songs and the fact that it was a hip-hop beat but also rock-riff heavy. I wanted to make something like that."
Two Feet added, “I was playing this flamenco lick and decided to transpose it to electric guitar. He liked the resulting riff but didn’t know what to do with it. While he stepped out for coffee, his engineer Huff put together a trap beat that paired beautifully. But something was still off. While writing the bridge, Two Feet and Huff stumbled on a moment of spontaneous synchronicity when they began playing two different synth lines at the same time.
"Flatline" is the follow-up to his lead single "Think I'm Crazy" from the new collection. Zachary William "Bill" Dess, better known by his stage name, Two Feet previously played in jazz and blues ensembles. His debut Two Feet single "Go Fuck Yourself" became a viral hit on SoundCloud. His first official radio single "I Feel Like I'm Drowning" was in 2018 and it reached #1 on the Mediabase Alternative Chart.
Two Feet previously released his debut full-length, Pink (2020) via Republic. He also has released three EPs: A 20 Something Fuck (2018), Momentum (2017), and First Steps (2016).
