Epitaph Records is proud to announce the signing of Dangerous!, with their debut album Teenage Rampage released on September 20th. The four piece rock band from Australia has a serious swagger and makes a noise that's dangerously loud. This Aussie four piece play punky, garage rock hard and fast with no messing around. The album was recorded in LA with Grammy nominated producer Ulrich Wild (Deftones, Pantera) and mixed by Marc McClusky (Weezer) and molds a cacophony of garage sound with high-octane rock-n-roll, the frenetic force It's an album packed to the brim with catchy, modern punk rock tunes that the punk kids are going to love.
"We are so glad a label like Epitaph can have a bigger picture in mind and work with a band from scratch. Now we have a huge team of rad people working for us, it's humbling and redeeming and it feels epic!" says Dangerous! frontman, Tommy Lofts. "This is a really exciting time for our band and we couldn't be more excited that Epitaph is releasing our first album."
Shouty gang vocals and riffs pinched from The Hives seem to be their trademarks, songs like "Needle " and "Slo Mo Video" are prime examples, sounding urgent and up for it, they are frantic stabs of punk rock. The radio-friendly "Movers And Shakers" is catchy and surely a future single. Album opener and debut single "Not One Of You" is a perfect example of what makes this band stand out from the crowd, hitting straight off with a Hives riff, it's instant from the start. The gang's vocals in the chorus are quality and work well, with singer Tommy screaming and snarling his lungs out like his life depends on it.
