Beast Patrol
Oct 1, 2012
The Brooklyn, NY based trio, Beast Patrol, released their debut EP, Fierce & Grateful on September 25th on their label Space Camp Radio Records. Beast Patrol members include Vanessa Bley, Robert Granata and Anthony Marchesi. Bley had been writing songs and recruited Marchesi to play a slot in a revolutionary show powered by bicycles, Natural Ass, and there they met Granata.
These up and comers are dedicated to leaving a lasting impression. With snarled yet intricate female vocals, smashing drums & distorted guitars, the sheer amount of attitude will catch you off guard. Their first single off Fierce & Grateful is "Plaster" which is synthy, with subtly sexy lyrics that actually hint at a breakup, glittering effects & a soaring chorus.
"'Plaster came so quickly when I wrote it. Total explosion. I actually hated it at first because it was so personal but over time the lyrics applied to more and more," Beast Patrol's Vanessa Bley recently told a music publication. "We all fall apart and try to clean it up. It's important to step outside yourself and try to get in. Keep the beast in check"
With banging power behind them, these three have been writing fast and furious while working on this LP and they are eager to share with the world Fierce & Grateful.
