Lost In Los Angeles
Jun 3, 2013

Culver City, CA based Lost in Los Angeles (LiLA) independently released The Hovering EP via the band's own imprint Spark Farm on May 8th. It is a collection of songs that will surely set the pace for things to come.
Combining impassioned melodies with lush, cinematic instrumentation, LiLA delivers dream-induced indie pop to a generation searching for something deeper. The Los Angeles based members include Danny Klein (vocals, piano, synth, beats), Eddie Deering (guitar, synth, beats) and Clark Souter (bass, vocals, beats). The trio uses their music to explore their dreams. LiLA have emerged as true sonic storytellers, wandering through hope, love and humanity, while wearing their hearts on their sleeves.
LiLA's self-titled debut album on Cartel Records drew their collective energy and experiences. The sonic landscape of the album allows listeners to go on a journey of personal reflection and emerge more enlightened on the other side. Each track unfolds with fresh, sincere emotion, dispatching melodies and thoughts that remain with the listener long after first play. After their videos for "Million Stars" and "All Roads Lead To You" gained rotation on MTV and VH1, LiLA went back to the studio to write their next chapter.
Pulling from such varied musical inspirations such as Air, Depeche Mode,
Led Zeppelin, Boards of Canada, Deftones, Moby, Flock of Seagulls, Stevie Wonder, Goldfrapp, Elton John, and Jeff Buckley, LiLA stretches musical boundaries on all fronts. Offering listeners personal musings about life and relationships, LiLA gives a voice to those looking to find their way.
Lost In Los Angeles wrap up a national JVC Mobile U.S. Tour with Angels Fall and Girl On Fire on June 10th.
