"Connect the Dots" is the latest track from the band, New Found Glory. It serves as the limited edition single from their first live album Kill It Live. It was released on September 10th via Violently Happy Records, a partnership between independent label Bridge Nine Records and the bands guitarist Chad Gilbert. This upcoming live album is due out on October 8th. It was filmed in Anaheim venue, Chain Reaction several months ago. "Connect The Dots" is the first new song from New Found Glory since 2011's Radiosurgery.
Originally from Coral Springs, Florida and formed in 1997, the band's constant members have been lead vocalist Jordan Pundik, guitarists Chad Gilbert and Steve Klein, bassist Ian Grushka and drummer Cyrus Bolooki, who replaced Joe Marino after the release of their debut EP. During their fifteen-year recording career, the band have released seven studio albums, three EPs and three cover albums. Emerging as part of the second wave of pop punk in the late 1990s, music critics consider them a key pioneer of the genre. Labeled the as the "godfathers of pop punk", they have been credited for serving alongside the work of Blink-182 as the blueprint to the entire genre for the early 2000s. Also renowned for their energetic live performances, the five-some have garnered a devout following since their inception.
