Lost In Los Angeles
Oct 13, 2013

Sonic storytellers Lost In Los Angeles (LiLA) have teamed up with ARTISTdirect to premiere their re-mastered track "Because Of You"! After initially debuting on LiLA's independently released EP The Hovering in May, "Because Of You" was officially rereleased as a radio single along with b-sides of the track on October 9th. Pulling from varied musical inspirations such as Air, Depeche Mode, Led Zeppelin, Moby, Elton John, and Jeff Buckley, LiLA stretches musical boundaries on all fronts, offering listeners personal musings about life and relationships.
The cover of this release features actress/model Genevieve Alexandra (recently appeared in Maniac starring Elijah Wood) and was shot by world-renowned photographer Gregory Bojorquez, who has photographed the likes of Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, Mike Tyson and others in their urban Los Angeles element. Bojorquez has also been featured in galleries worldwide, and in Rolling Stone Magazine, FHM, Juxtapoz and more.
Combining impassioned melodies with lush, cinematic instrumentation, LiLA delivers dream-induced indie pop to a generation searching for something deeper. The Los Angeles based trio, Danny Klein (vocals, piano, synth, beats), Eddie Deering (guitar, synth, beats) and Clark Souter (bass, vocals, beats), use their music to explore their dreams. LiLA have emerged as true storytellers, wandering through hope, love and humanity, while wearing their hearts on their sleeves.
LiLA released their self-titled debut album on Cartel Records in 2010 and premiered videos for "Million Stars" and "All Roads Lead to You", both of which gained rotation on MTV and VH1. After returning to the studio to write their next chapter, LiLA came back full force in May 2013 with the independently released The Hovering EP. The band spent their summer touring 28-cities around the U.S. on JVC Mobile U.S. Tour and are back home in LA to support their new radio single "Because of You".
