KONGOS
Feb 16, 2014
Epic Records has signed the South African band, Kongos, who released their sophomore album, Lunatic this past September featuring the breakout accordion-driven rocker Alternative hit, "Come With Me Now." The film Holy Motors used their song "Come With Me Now" in the official trailer.
The Kongos are three brothers, Johnny, Jesse, Dylan and Daniel, sons of the British singer-songwriter, John Kongos. They spent their childhoods in the city of London and in South Africa. They currently compose, record and perform in Phoenix, AZ.
Having grown its fanbase through incessant touring - including a key opening slot for Linkin Park in South Africa in 2012 - sibling quintet Kongos will continue its torrid touring pace by opening for Airborne Toxic Event the rest of this month and will play the Firefly Music Festival in June.
