Little Hurricane

"Sheep In Wolves Clothes" is the anthemic lead single released by Little Hurricane, from their upcoming album, Gold Fever out via Death Valley Records-INgrooves on March 4th. This is the duo's follow-up to 2011's Homewrecker and they recorded this sophomore album at a 19th-century apple-packing house in an old gold mining town. Singer/guitarist Tone Catalano and drummer/vocalist C.C. Spina hunkered down with vintage equipment borrowed from a friend. When they were finished the product was a new album that takes on a swampy yet ethereal vibe and one that slyly captures the spirit of the weirder, wilder corners of Southern California.
"We have spent two years working on Gold Fever and are really happy with the collection of songs we have created. 'Sheep in Wolves Clothes' is a great example of what we were able to accomplish with that extra time while still keeping our sound raw and textural" said Catalano.
Little Hurricane is a Rock/Dirty blues band based out of San Diego, California. Formed in 2010, the band consists of front man Anthony "Tone" Catalano and drummer Celeste "C.C." Spina. Their influences include Van Morrison, Dead Weather, Gorillaz, James Taylor, Paul Simon, and The Beatles. They began making music when Tone and CC met via Craigslist. Their bluesy soul stems from Santa Cruz, where tone was educated by his musical surroundings, and Chicago, where CC first created her back breaking beats. By coincidence, both members lived on the 30th Street in North Park, San Diego. They also found a common interest in unique and vintage equipment and a love of grimy, down and dirty blues.
