Night Riots
Nov 14, 2014

The San Luis Obispo, CA-based band, Night Riots, recently announced that their upcoming EP titled Howl will be released on January 20th, 2015 via Sumerian Records. Their single, "Contagious" is available now.
"'Contagious' is a song about letting go," vocalist Travis Hawley reveals. "Sometimes we get so wrapped up in the importance of our individual worlds that it is hard to think that anything could be any more pressing. 'Contagious' is a call to action to find solace in the fact that our lives are not the center of the universe."
The band consists of Nick Fotinakes (Guitar), Travis Hawley (Vocals), Matt DePauw (Guitar), Mikel Van Kranenburg (Bass), and Rico Rodriguez (Drums). During the late Spring of 2013, Night Riots raised $11,842 using the crowd funding site Indie Go Go. The money was put towards the independent release of the band's EP Young Lore.
Night Riots have been touring non-stop since releasing their debut EP Young Lore last summer and are currently on tour with k.flay. They have most notably opened for Aerosmith, The Script, Angels And Airwaves and Youngblood Hawke.
