Grizfolk
Nov 14, 2014

The five piece group, Grizfolk, released their debut EP, From The Spark in February 2014 via Virgin Records. "The Struggle," introduced the band at radio stations across the country early in 2014, and is followed by the driving pulse of the band's first Alternative single "Hymnals."
Based in Los Angeles with roots in Sweden, Grizfolk is a five piece group consisting of Adam Roth (lead vocals), Sebastian Fritze (synthesizer, backing vocals), Fredrik Eriksson (guitar), Brendan James (bass guitar, backing vocals), and Bill Delia (drums). Roth left the small Florida town he grew up in and headed west about the same time that Swedish producers Eriksson and Fritze decided to trade the snowdrifts of Stockholm for the palm trees of Southern California. After marrying the effortless range of Adam's heartfelt vocals with Fredrik's piercing guitar and the harmonizing keys of Sebastian, Grizfolk expanded to include the similarly alt-rock-minded Bill Delia and Brendan James.
Grizfolk supported label mates Bastille on their European and U.S. tours in Spring and Fall of 2014 respectively, including two sold out shows at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. Grizfolk has also toured with several other artists on the alternative circuit, including Haim and Wild Cub.
