"Tomorrow" is the latest single from the English group, A Silent Film. They released it on a 4-track EP entitled "New Year" via Silent Songs this April. They made the record in a studio on a pecan farm, just outside El Paso, Texas. "Tomorrow" is a heavy keyboard and synth-driven track that centers around the repetition of the phrase, "Pray for a chance to prove yourself tomorrow." It's a song vaguely about renewal and change. This Fall, A Silent Film will release their next full-length album.
Formerly a five-piece, A Silent Film are now a duo featuring Robert Stevenson (vocals, piano and guitar) and Spencer Walker (drums). The Oxford U.K. band have found much success in the USA. Their first album, "The City That Sleeps", was released in 2008.They have now sold over 40,000 albums and 300,000 singles. They have built up a huge, loyal fan-base through their powerful live shows. A Silent Film have had over 5.5 million Spotify plays, 2.5 million youtube views and 500,000 Soundcloud plays. They have toured with OneRepublic, The Temper Trap and American Authors.
To celebrate the release of their EP, "New Year", in April the band went on a non-traditional USA tour in entitled "Secret Rooms." They offered intimate performances in non-traditional spaces that were not revealed to fans until just before the show.
