Angels & Demons
jxdn (Jaden Hossler) joined RADIO.COM's DTS Sound Space Sundays for an at-home performance on February 7th and chat with KROQ/Los Angeles PM Driver Megan Holiday, who is also heard nationally across the Entercom Alternative platform. jxdn launched his music career on Travis Barker's DTA label thru Elektra. His performance featured "Drivers License," a cover of the Taylor Swift-approved debut single from High School Musical giving the pop hit a punk makeover with the help of his pal Travis on drums. jxdn also performed "So What!," "Better Off Dead," and his current single "Angels & Demons." jxdn said his musical influences stem from a childhood surrounded by music, with both parents pastors and his father heavily involved in choir activities. He mentioned one defining moment he remembers pushing him towards the career path he’s on now was watching Justin Bieber’s 2011 film, Never Say Never, when he was just 10 years old. jxdn talked about his battle with mental health and how it comes out in his music. jxdn has been making contact with his 16 million followers across all his platforms with a community app where he can mass text 30,000 of his fans at once. jxdn says his favorite part about making his forthcoming new album, TELL ME ABOUT TOMORROW, is how close he has gotten to Travis.
