High Again
WAQX (95X)/Syracuse APD/MD/afternoon host dXn (top) chats with Travis Mills (bottom) of Girlfriends about the band’s new single "High Again" and his journey with mental health. Mills said, "The lyrics aren't as literal as someone might take them. I wrote the song from the perpective that on the surface everything looks fine... But the voice inside my head is the complete opposite. Hey, you're not good enough. You will never amount to anything. You're not going to make it. It's like a juxtaposition of these two world's clashing. I felt like that when I was 13 and I feel like that at 30. That's the struggle of every day and I feel like a lot of people can relate to that." dXN and Mills had a fascinating chat that you can listen to here. https://www.instagram.com/tv/CdeQFJEJr3-/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link
