Yungblud On Stage At Audacy Beach Festival
Audacy hosted its second annual "Audacy Beach Festival" in Fort Lauderdale, FL on December 3-4. The two-day beach festival featuring performances by Machine Gun Kelly, Muse, The 1975, Jack White, The Used, Jimmy Eat World, Dashboard Confessional, Phoenix, Yungblud, Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness, GAYLE, The Maine, The Struts, BoyWithUke, Waterparks, Mayday Parade, Sueco, half•alive, Story of the Year, Beach Weather, Wheatus, Talk, and Giovannie & The Hired Guns. Audacy partnered with American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) for Mental Health Awareness, “After a successful first year, we were thrilled to gather with our fans for another fun-filled weekend on the sand with some of the biggest acts in alternative,” said Audacy SVP/Programming and Music Initiatives MIchael Martin. "We’re looking forward to continue growing this event and can’t wait for more jams on the beach in 2023." Sone of the highlights from the weekend Beach Festival included: Beach Weather, who, as the Florida sun was shining down on the event, rocked the crowd to their top hit "Sex, Drugs, etc." Jack White had fans roaring to his current rock hits as well as anthems from his White Stripes days, including "Seven Nation Army" to wrap his set. Giovannie & The Hired Guns performing their breakthrough $1 hit single “Ramon Ayala” and their set featured a cover of Foster The People’s "Pumped Up Kicks." Dashboard Confessional welcoming The 1975’s Matt Healy onstage to help perform the band’s single "Hands Down." Andrew McMahon crowd surfed in a giant inflatable llama during his set.
