Content Without Artists

Every day you're bombarded with is "Content is king!"
The encouraging part should be that the same "people" also say that radio can create content, content that can be compelling, relevant and draw traffic through whichever media avenue we put it on.
But you know what I fear is happening? I'm afraid that there are many of you out there that think content can only be found or made by using artists.
WRONG!
Get your head out of your butt and go look in the mirror.
Because you're the ones that are supposed to create the content. Your radio station. Listeners should be interested in what you're doing. That doesn't mean every little detail of your station's life should end up on the web. But if you have compelling communicators as your deejays, then your content can be great! Seriously, I mean it!
If your deejays aren't compelling, then I would question why you even have them on the air in the first place.
So, create content. It needs to be something that people want to see and hear but then put it out there and let your listeners take it in and use it.
