What in the world?!?!

So because now that the labels are losing money because they didn't see the Internet coming, they choose to get their income from radio stations who can barely afford ASCAP, BMI and SESAC royalties? You have got to be kidding me.

This is quite possibly the poorest excuse I've ever heard to get more money. After all, we help you promote YOUR artists, YOUR music on our station. Isn't that enough?

The uppity-mucks at labels need to realize that it is not our fault. We are not the reason you are losing. You are the reason you are losing. So don't come to us trying to pinch an extra penny out because you think it'll cover your bottom line. Have you seen what the Clear Channels and CBS' of the world have done? They've cut back, trimmed the fat, so they can still operate.

Stop biting the hand that feeds and fix your own system, not ours.
