It's funny. The last few weeks have brought out the crazies: those who are crazy about the show "Lost" and those who are made crazy by those crazies.
For the first lot, this weekend marks the end of an era, what ABC has been touting as the greatest TV show of the decade (which means if I watch this series finale, I'm good 'til 2011). They're rallying around their "Lost" viewing parties and themed food, and they're posting all their yet-to-be-answered-and-probably-never-will-be questions. Life is good for the "Lost" lovin' crazies.
I've seen more of the second lot come out this week. People who have never seen the show and are quite frankly, tired of hearing about it. What's funny to see and hear is how they try to be funny about how much they know about the show they've never seen. I may or may not have watched an episode, but these people are lame and not really funny at all. For real, let the "Losties" have their moment, OK?
So, how about you? Where will you be Sunday night for the feature film-length, 2.5 hour finale? Are you making Jack Shepherd's Pie and Hurley Fries? Or are you flipping the channel to something else? And how are you talking about it on Monday? Or are you?
