1. Share a moment in your career that you’ll always remember.
It was right after High School interning at a radio station in Atlanta. So many of my classmates were going to school to become teachers or in healthcare and for a moment I thought it was selfish to do radio because it was fun and I mistakenly thought it didn’t make a difference. Until I was able to intern at a concert. All of the equipment was packed and we were about to drive away in the station vehicle. BUT There was a 6 year old girl that waved us down and said she listened to this station all the time and could she pretty please have a t-shirt. I dug and dug to the bottom of the pile to find her the last t-shirt. It swallowed her whole but her smile was HUGE! She gave me the biggest hug and thanked me for giving her that shirt. I knew in that moment radio was about changing lives.
2. If you weren’t working in radio what else do you think you’d do?
Probably staying at home with our two kids homeschooling and growing our little farm.
