Lincoln Brewster celebrated Easter by leading worship for more than 17,000 attending a special service held at Sacramento's Power Balance Pavilion, which is home to the Sacramento Kings. The Easter service was an outreach of Sacramento-based Bayside Church Granite Bay Campus.
In addition to the message from senior pastor of Bayside Church Ray Johnston and music by Brewster, the service included a special appearance by Louie Zamperini, 94-year-old WWII airman and prisoner of war, and Olympic athlete. Zamperini was presented with an honorary degree from Azusa Pacific University. Funds were also raised for various local charities during the service.
