Two-time GRAMMY winner MATT REDMAN led the 44th ANNUAL DOVE AWARDS with the most award wins of any artist. The acclaimed worship leader received six awards including the distinguished honor of Songwriter Of The Year and Song Of The Year for his powerful anthem "10,000 Reasons (Bless The Lord)." REDMAN also took home awards for the song in the categories of Contemporary Christian Performance Of The Year, Pop/Contemporary Song Of The Year and Praise & Worship Song Of The Year. Adding to the night's wins, REDMAN and friends received the award for Special Event Album Of The Year for this year's PASSION: Let The Future Begin record.
REDMAN is currently out on his EUROPEAN tour, GOD'S GREAT DANCE FLOOR - WORSHIP TOUR. Upon hearing about the award wins REDMAN remarked, "I've had a lot of affirmation as a worship songwriter recently, and particularly around the '10,000 Reasons' song. I won't ever take that for granted. I guess an award like this is a sign that the song has connected with the church and ultimately people's hearts and lives, so that makes me super glad."
