Bright City

Debut album from British creative collective released Monday 16 March 2015. The self-titled debut album from British creative collective 'Bright City' presents 13 tracks of faith and hope. Based at St Peter's Brighton, UK, the Bright City project brings together song-writers, musicians and producers who all have a vision to make music that is authentic, creative and passionate.
The album is hotly-anticipated after the success of first single 'Colour,' released February 2015. The single went straight to the top of the iTunes Christian/Gospel song charts and reached top 100 in iTunes song charts. From the anthemic title track 'Bright City' via the explosive first single 'Colour' through to the more tender moments including 'I Will Rest' and 'Broken' - the album aims to point people to their Creator.
Paul Nelson, Worship Pastor of St Peter's Brighton and Executive Producer of Bright City said, "Here at St Peter's Brighton, we're so excited to be launching our first music project. Worship is central to all that we do, and we've always had a dream that St Peter's would be a hub for the arts and creativity right in the heart of Brighton. We've loved working together on this album as a team - be certain this is only the beginning."
Martin Smith, former Delirious? frontman and Executive Producer of Bright City commented, "It's great living in Brighton and being part of the Church here, and it's been so exciting to see what has come out of our own people. Some of the writers are only 19, 20 years old on this project, and we were intentional about writing the songs that we loved, that we wanted to write, and not copying anything that had come before."
