Pizza Ranch(r) restaurants, home of the Pizza Lover's Pizza(r) and the Country's Best Chicken Pizza(r), will now be offering its customers food for the soul as well. The popular Midwest chain has created an original compilation CD titled "Living Hope," available June 2, featuring the most celebrated names in Christian music and will donate $120,000 on behalf of participating artists to non-profit Porter's Call.
Adrie Groeneweg, president and CEO of Pizza Ranch(r) Inc., explains "Christian Music deeply resonates with our guests, while upholding the ideals of Pizza Ranch. I love the songs on the CD and feel that they will deeply minister to many people. We couldn't be more excited for its release."
"Living Hope" comprises 12 tracks recorded by contemporary Christian music's top artists including hitmakers Francesca Battistelli, Colton Dixon, Phil Wickham, Ellie Holcomb, Passion Band featuring Kristian Stanfill, Mark Schultz, Kevin Max, Michael W. Smith, Laura Story, Bart Millard of MercyMe, Sidewalk Prophets and Matthew West. Thematically, the songs, many of which are exclusive to the Pizza Ranch(r) record, echo a message of hope.
The CD launched last week with a kick-off event in Nashville during which Pizza Ranch(r) donated $120,000 on behalf of participating "Living Hope" artists and record labels to Porter's Call, a non-profit working to be a service of counsel, support and encouragement to recording artists and their families.
"All of us involved with Porter's Call, from our staff to our board, are overwhelmed with the kindness and generosity of the good folks at Pizza Ranch(r)," says Al Andrews, Porter's Call founder and executive director. "The boost of encouragement their gift has given us cannot be measured. It goes far to keep our doors open for artists to come and find the help they need."
The CD will be available beginning June 2 at Pizza Ranch Restaurants or via download at www.pizzaranch.com/music
