Listeners to KJNW (LIFE 88.5)/KANSAS CITY have stepped up to help make sure area children have a warm place to sleep. LIFE 88.5 partnered with volunteers from SLEEP IN HEAVENLY PEACE KC SOUTHEAST to provide a solution. More than 300 kids in KANSAS CITY received beds for the very first time. LIFE 88.5 listeners helped to furnish the beds with 275 sheet sets, 192 pillows, 129 blankets and comforters, and more. Plus, listeners raised over $8,000 to help meet other expenses.
