A call to prayer for Ukraine has led FIRST BAPTIST MEDIA Contemporary Christian KCBI/DFW and Texas Baptist Men, a Christian disaster relief organization, to partner in ministering to refugees at a church shelter in Lviv, West Ukraine. KCBI’s "Day of Hope: One Day. One Church. One Mission." was Thursday (3/3). Listeners tripled the $10,000 goal, allowing KCBI to send a total of $40,000 to further Texas Baptist Men’s ministry to Ukrainian refugees fleeing through Lviv and along the Polish border. KCBI’s Sonny Delfyette is traveling with Texas Baptist Men to Warsaw to tell the stories of how God is working through listeners’ gifts as part of a KCBI mini-documentary, “One Week Near Warsaw.”
