98.5 KTIS teamed up with a generous donor to make Mother’s Day extra special for Twin Cities moms who have been struggling in some way this year. The Heart of a Mom initiative made it possible for listeners to nominate their mom or a motherly figure in their life to have their greatest need fulfilled. Five special mothers had needs met that included long-overdue kitchen and bathroom work, and a reliable vehicle. “We were overwhelmed to hear so many amazing stories of deserving mothers here in the Twin Cities.” said 98.5 KTIS Program Director Matt Deane. “While we couldn’t meet every need, it was truly an honor to make life easier for these five moms!” (Photo: 98.5 KTIS listener Ellen is honored by her family)
