Alabama frontman Randy Owen was recently honored by the Boy Scouts Of America at the organization’s American Values luncheon in Anniston, AL. Owen was presented with the "Heart Of An Eagle Award," which recognizes individuals who show compassion for their community. The Country singer has been key in humanitarian efforts such as launching St. Jude Country Cares For Kids, and several disaster relief initatives.
Owen said, “It’s a great honor to be recognized by the Boy Scouts Of America. I admire the great people who make scouting a wonderful lifetime experience for our state and country.” You can find more information on Alabama and their “50th Anniversary Tour” dates at www.TheAlabamaBand.com.
