Dolly Parton
Mar 31, 2020
Dolly Parton will launch a weekly children's book reading series on Thursdays, titled "Goodnight With Dolly," starting on April 2nd from 7-7:15p (ET). There are 10 event dates scheduled to run from April to June, and all books Parton will be reading are from her Imagination Library, which provides free books to pre-school children. Each book has been "specifically chosen for their appropriate content at this unique time," according to PR materials. The stories will be read across the social channels for the Imagination Library, Parton’s personal sites, the World Choice Investments family of attractions, and The Dollywood Company. “This is something I have been wanting to do for quite a while, but the timing never felt quite right,” said Parton. “I think it is pretty clear that now is the time to share a story and to share some love. It is an honor for me to share the incredible talent of these authors and illustrators. They make us smile, they make us laugh and they make us think."
