Big Machine Records' Midland will release a 17-track vinyl version of their LP, "Midland Live From The Palomino," via select record stores on Saturday, August 29th in support of Record Store Day. The project, recorded live during their performance at the legendary honky-tonk venue in North Hollywood last October, was released digitally as a 10-track set in February. The annual Record Store Day supports hardworking record store employees and their independently owned stores. Additionally, the night prior to the vinyl release (8/28), Record Store Day will premiere a concert special, "Midland Live At The Palomino" on its Facebook page at 8p (ET).
“We are thrilled to be the first to premiere Midland’s concert special for their fans the night before Record Store Day,” said Record Store Day co-founder Carrie Colliton. “I'm so glad this special night was captured on camera, and now on vinyl, and that we're able to highlight it at indie record stores.”
