Taylor Swift is among the top nominees for the American Music Awards, announced today (10/26). She netted four nods in all-genre and Pop categories, including Artist of the Year. Dan + Shay were close behind with three nominations, including one in the all-genre Collaboration of the Year category for their hit with Justin Bieber, “10,000 Hours.” They also earned nominations in two Country categories: Favorite Duo or Group and Favorite Song (“10,000 Hours”). Luke Combs, Maren Morris, Blake Shelton and Morgan Wallen earned two nominations apiece for the show, set to air Sunday, November 22nd at 8p (ET) on ABC.
In the Country categories, Favorite Male Artist nominees are: Kane Brown, Combs and Wallen. Favorite Female Artist contenders are Gabby Barrett, Miranda Lambert and Morris. Nominees in the Favorite Duo or Group category are Dan + Shay, Florida Georgia Line and Old Dominion. Vying for favorite album are Combs’ “What You See Is What You Get,” Shelton’s “Fully Loaded: God’s Country” and Wallen’s “If I Know Me.” Favorite song nominees are “10,000 Hours,” Morris’ “The Bones” and Shelton’s duet with Gwen Stefani, “Nobody But You.” See the full list of nominees here.
