EMI Records Nashville's Gary Allan will release a new album, "Ruthless," on Friday, June 25th. The 13-track project was produced by Mark Wright, Tony Brown, Greg Dorman, Jay Joyce and Allan himself. Allan announced the album yesterday (5/6) on his Facebook and YouTube pages during a special livestream appearance from the House of Blues in Nashville. Watch it here. During the stream, Allan also gave fans a first listen to his new music, including lead track "Temptation," released today (5/8).
“This is a montage of everything I have done since my last album,” said Allan. “It’s what I love. I remain influenced by the '90s -- as well as by the '80s. Twenty-six tracks were cut for this album. Then I went back to the studio and recorded three or four more tracks. Then I returned for two more. From each of these many sessions, I stripped out the cool stuff that I wanted on the record.”
