An authorized biography of Warner Music Nashville/WMN's Blake Shelton, titled "Blake Shelton: Happy Anywhere," is set to release in June via Backbeat Books. It was written by longtime friend Carol Cash Large with a foreword by Shelton himself. Large, a retired teacher who helped Shelton make his move to Nashville at age 17, and has been in contact with him ever since, contributed 50 of her own personal photographs to the 256-page book.
"Happy Anywhere" is a personal account of stories about their times together over the years, highlights of the Country superstar's career and special memories. "I wish I had somebody writing all of those memories down for my career! I learned a lot about Blake and his early days in Country music - I know you will too,” said Reba McEntire in a comment about the book. It will retail for $27.95.
