Dolly Parton will release the "Run, Rose, Run" album on Friday, March 4th. Produced by Richard Dennison and Tom Rutledge, the set is a companion project to her novel by the same title, and will be released via her Butterfly Records in partnership with Ingrooves/UMG. As previously reported, the novel "Run, Rose, Run," co-written by Parton and James Patterson, will be released on Monday, March 7th (Net News 8/12/2021). The album's first track, "Big Dreams and Faded Jeans," is available to stream now. The 12-track album features collaborations with Joe Nichols and Ben Haggard. In celebration of the release, Parton has teamed up with Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream for a second time to release her "Dolly's Strawberry Pretzel Pie" flavor ice cream, with a portion of proceeds going to her literacy program, The Imagination Library. Jeni's customers will also be offered a special edition of the album with an exclusive bonus track.
“So many people come to Nashville with their sack of songs," said Parton. "Whether they're running from anything or not, they're running towards a future. That's what 'Big Dreams and Faded Jeans' is all about. I am so pleased to finally share the first song from this exciting new album with all of you!”
