Country artist Joe Diffie is sharing his love of cooking with fans by releasing a new cookbook full of his family's secret recipes, called "Homecoming: The Diffie Family Cookbook."
Joe said, "I really enjoy cooking! I'm indebted to my mom, not only for teaching me my way around a kitchen but for working with me to help compile all of the recipes in this book. She contacted many of our relatives and helped me organize the content for the book. Of course, she's a very special lady, kind of a cross between Paula Deen and Aunt Bee. She's an incredible cook!
He continued, "I wanted this book to reflect everything there is about the joy of a family cooking and sharing a meal together. I hope my family and I can bring some of our experiences into the lives of others. Preparing a meal at home and eating together as a family creates bonds that last a lifetime."
Fans who purchase the cookbook will receive a free copy of Joe's "Ultimate Collection" CD, which features 20 of his biggest hits, including "John Deere Green," "Pickup Man," "Ships That Don't Come In" and more. Joe dabbles in Bluegrass music on his brand-new album on Rounder Records, "Homecoming," which is in stores now.
"Homecoming: The Diffie Family Cookbook" is available for sale now at www.amazon.com and at www.joediffie.com.
