Reba McEntire's film, "The Hammer," is set to premiere Saturday (1/7) at 7p (CT) on Lifetime. In "The Hammer," the MCA Nashville artist stars as Kim Wheeler, an outspoken, firecracker lawyer appointed as a traveling judge in Nevada's 5th district, as previously reported. It is her second starring and executive producer collaboration with Lifetime.
McEntire said, "I loved the script for 'The Hammer' and could definitely identify with the tough, no-nonsense spirit of the real-life person it was based on. Also, how could I say no to getting to work with my boyfriend, Rex Linn, and my 'Reba' TV show co-star Melissa Peterman again? We had the best time." "The Hammer" will be available to stream on Sunday (1/8).
