Brooke Eden

BBR Music Group's Brooke Eden was nominated today (1/19) for her first GLADD Media Award for Outstanding Breakthrough Artist. GLADD annually honors musicians who use songs, music videos, and live performances to accelerate LGBTQ+ acceptance. The award ceremonies will be held in Los Angeles on March 30th and New York on May 13th. Active in the LGBTQ+ conversation surrounding equality and representation, Eden has performed at New York City's Pride March and partnered with the RIAA for an initiative called "Music Matters," where she met with Congressman David Cicilline (D-RI), Chair of the Congressional LGBTQ+ Equality Caucus, for a conversation surrounding LGBTQ+ equality and representation. 

Eden said, "As a Country artist, I aim to reach beyond the norms of our genre and connect the dots between small town living and real life love of all forms. Although there is still more understanding and progress to be made, I’m so proud to see the forward movement in the Country music space.
