Guy Clark’s grandchildren, Dylan Clark and Ellie Clark Morell, have launched Guy Clark, LLC to oversee the legendary songwriter’s intellectual property, businesses and legacy. The Grammy-winner, Nashville Songwriter Hall of Fame member and Academy of Country Music Poet’s Award honoree died in 2016. Throughout his career, Clark blazed a trail for original and groundbreaking artists and troubadours, including his good friends Rodney Crowell, Verlon Thompson and many others.

Guy Clark LLC is managed by a board of directors that includes Dylan Clark, Tamara Saviano, Crowell, Thompson and Scott Robinson. Industry veteran Saviano, who authored a 2016 biography on Clark and produced a documentary film about him in 2021, is the Creative Manager of the company, and will lead the day-to-day activities. Bluewater Music handles music and publishing administration for Guy Clark, LLC. Wiles + Taylor provides accounting and business management services. Baker Donelson is legal representation. The goal of Guy Clark LLC is to continue to bring the creative products developed by Clark to present and future fans, and to continue to enforce intellectual property rights on his creative properties.
