BFD/Audium Nashville's 4Runner is set to release "Back Runnin'," their first album after a nearly two-decade absence. The 11-song project, dropping March 31st, reunites lead singer Craig Morris with Billy Crittenden, Lee Hilliard, and Jim Chapman, along with the addition of Morris' son, Sam. 4Runner is remembered for their ‘90s songs such as the Top 30-charting "Cain's Blood," on Polydor Records and, later, A&M.
Produced by Kent Wells and Tony Smith, the project's lead single, "Ragged Angel," was first released in 2004. A reimagined version is the cornerstone of the new album. Morris said, "We're back, and boy, we’ve got some stories to tell. We’ve done a lot of living, so we know what we’re talking about. We talk about love and life and all those things. We’ve lived, and so when we sing these songs, everybody has a lifetime of experience now."
